Enjoying extensive views across Stags Fell and beyond, this spacious and well equipped cottage offers comfortable accommodation for larger groups or families.
Fossdale House is located in the tiny hamlet of High Shaw, on the Buttertubs Pass above Simonstone, Simonstone Hall being the place that saw the dimise of Top gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson. With walks in all directions it is ideal for walkers and cyclists - the pass being a major part of The Tour de France and Yorkshire.
Shaw Ghyll Wood provides a tranquil "secret" setting, with small waterfalls, whilst also easy access to the major fells of great Shuner and Lovely Seat.
Hardraw Force is within a half an hour walk. To the north, neighbouring Swaledale can be accessed across the ’Buttertubs Pass’ - a beautiful drive or walk.
Hawes (two miles away) has a range of individual shops, and the popular Wensleydale Creamery Visitor Centre.

Ground floor
With gas central heating and comprising:
Sitting room: with electric log burning stove, TV with basic Sky package and DVD player.
Large kitchen diner: with gas hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, iron and washer/dryer.
Bedroom 1: with twin beds and garden views. Wet room: with shower, WC and basin.

First floor:
Bedroom 2: with four poster bed and en suite with shower and WC.
Bedroom 3: with king size bed. Bedroom 4: with twin beds. Bedroom 5: with two single beds and sloping ceilings.
